Sorry it’s been kinda quiet around here. I hope I’m not the only one the holidays throw for a loop! I’ve got a few things in the works, including plans for our annual holiday open house. So stay tuned for details! Today, though, i have a yummy and very quick insta-party sure to warm you and your guest up now that winter is steadily approaching. No cocktail recipe this week since sometimes a delicious beer is just what’s called for. Pair a stout with this cheesy bread for a winning (and super easy) combination!
Cheesy Bread (serves 2)
3/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise, light is ok
1 teaspoon assorted dried herbs (parsley, dill, thyme, oregano, whatever floats your flavor boat)
Salt and pepper to taste
4 pieces white bread, crusts removed
Combine cheese, mayonnaise, herbs, salt, and pepper. Spread 1/4 of the cheese mixture on each piece of bread. Toast until cheesy is melted and bubbly. Serve
